Henri Wintermans cigars represent the second largest cigar manufacturer in the world founded in 1904 with over 100 years of experience. The founder of the company got into this business when he was 15 years old and became a cigar roller in a factory. Later together with his brother Sjaak Henri Wintermans started a cigar factory where he was responsible for purchasing tobacco and creating different blends. Henri Wintermans' passion for tobacco was immense - he personally visited many countries of the world trying to create blends that could be found nowhere else - and he succeeded admirably. The most famous brands of the company include Café Crème, Colts, Mercator, Henri Wintermans Founder's Blend and Petit. Henri Wintermans cigars are usually described as aromatic, balanced and mild, with pleasant aroma and smooth draw. Special attention is paid to the quality of tobacco leaves used in the manufacturing. Once the tobacco seeds are planted, about 5 months are supposed to pass before the tobacco leaves can be harvested. The company is proud of the fact all tobacco leaves are picked by hand to make sure only the ones that are good enough for making cigars are harvested.
